Oleum Restaurant is the point of reference for fine dining in Mallorca. Chef Christian Rullan and his team balance archetypal Mallorcan cooking with a respect for international gourmet; thoughtfully applying modern techniques to locally sourced seasonal ingredients.
The word "oleum" means olive oil in Latin and is considered to be the liquid gold of the Mediterranean. The olive tree, symbolic of abundance and peace, has long lent its legacy to the intrinsic mythologies of the peoples of the Mediterranean. On Mallorca, part of island life today still revolves around olive trees and their produce, Mallorcan olive oil.
The restaurant is located in Gran Hotel Son Net, just 15 minutes from Palma, above the small town of Puigpunyent and offers an innovative design framed by a palette of dark reds and stone with rich gold detailing, lit with the local history of the island.
Opening hours: Oleum is open from 20.00 with last orders taken at 22.30. On Sundays you can enjoy our brunch between 13.00 and 16.00. As of October, Oleum will open for lunch from 13.00 until 15.30. |
