Before joining Son Net as Head Chef in 2005, Christian Rullan Mathy had worked in some of the island‘s best restaurants. He has been an accomplished name in Mallorcan cuisine for over 7 years, working in noted restaurant Bens d´Avall and Es Raco des Teix, both on the island. His intimate knowledge of Mallorcan cuisine and belief in the honest simplicity of its regional fare forms a strong influence in his cooking.
Christian received his formal training in his home country at the prestigious School Lenotre, Paris, and specialized in pastry work, working his traineeship in the city. Following his Parisian education he continued his studies on the Balearic Islands, graduating in "Escola d’Hoteleria de les Illes Balears" and has been based in Mallorca since. |
